Voice of 'Sundeep' :: Ordeal at Trichy Bus Stand ::

On the return trip of about 10 members of the group, with confirmed return tickets on Pallavan (no, it was Guruvayur Express !!).

This confirmed train tickets was done b'cause someone (Huf.. Is't me ???) from the group would only travel by train, perhaps they had forgotten those memorable college days when everyboby used to travel by bus, (PLA, NNL, via trichy etc) .. (You know, I was travelling in PLA only on that Saturday, to & from my home !!)

But unfortunately this confirmed return ticket was for 20th Feb. 2005, 00:30 hrs and we realized that if we were to travel on Sunday (actually Monday!!) 00:30 AM the ticket had to be made for 21 Feb 2005 00:30 hrs.

Thanks to KD (read Jack of all Roses) for having messed all this up to top this all he confirmed me that he had booked the ticket with the right date on it. (follower Ranjith, booked rest of the tickets and so many verifiers!!)

After doing all this the culprit (Chumma da ! Don't get tensed !) had booked a bus ticket for himself thus escaping all the ordeals standing at Trichy Bus Stand at 1:00 Am and trying to find means to reach Chennai. Hadn't he done this his plight would have been totally different.

With no other option left we boarded a ramschackle bus and somehow reached Chennai. (bus, without few windows .. but, ultra-fast and on time)

Well all in all it was a magnificient experience of machi's marriage.

Please do not read in between lines for I don't bear anything against anybody.

Also do not make the same mistake with the date when the time crosses 00:00 HRS.!!!!! (Good learning ! second time .. first one is date .. now time ?? let me see !!)

Machi's marriage !!

After a loong time .. great get together @ a nice function.. Yes, after the last year's Kodai trip, again it was time to meet & share .. now, it was Machi's turn to quit the "GREAT Bachelor" status !!!

This is the first time, I'm posting the messages from my friends directly (as like in Group Blog!, but here on be-half of hem, I myself post here.. here n there edited/aligned few stuff..)

This is a short report on our mannaru group chairman's (Machi-MK) marriage on Feb. 20, 2005 @ Trichy.

The events started with traditional "Ponnu Azhaippu" on Feb 19 Evening and a spl. Pooja @ near by Temple by the couple.

Few of our friends reached Trichy [yes, I too reached on time!] at this time and made their presence felt by Cheering MK who came in "Sherwani" ...

(Shervaani ?? sorry .. if i am wrong.. i am week or weak in english; anyway let it be "vaani")

Post dinner, few of us became Nice Guys and you must have decoded the dialogues that were in air then .....

It was late night 1.00 pm/early morning 1.00 am; Chithu and me started the spl. help on "Thamboola Pai" preparation where in I was slow to open the covers and do a good job. Chithu was at his best ..... (as usual, he's GREAT na !!)

It was almost 2.30 am early morning that we got in to a 'deep' discussion with our Great 'Vacchu' & K(ar)D and by luck we finsihed the same by 3.15 am without conclusion as usual...

[Chithu : Vachuu escaped this time too !! vetti !! but one thing need to appreciate is the changes in KarD, didn't get tensed much and shared many useless things after loong time .. but as usual, there was hot discussion from Vachuu, even sent SMS to me in mid-night about the looong call of KarD .. still .. not answered ???]

At 5.30 am it was a good morning call from Raje, who was in complete formals even while travelling (machi : voon kadamai vunarchikku alave illayada ..?). At the sun rise , it was a time for us to do final make up touches for MK by painting / brushing /.... ( oops ... believe Beautification is a 6000 crore industry as per KPMG and it is toooo skin sensitive !!!!!!!)

[Chithu : Jus' 'hai' to 'Rajee', without even opening the eyes .. then, call from 'anna' .. followed immediately the entry of 'Kathir' .. funny thing .. strong hit on 'Joe', thought it was 'Sarapi' .. Sarapi escaped from Kathir in the early morning.. got ready !]

Time of Good moments :

Don't be hurry to imagine that MK finished the rituals ... It was time for me to finish breakfast... ( he he he he he...) (Dei JK, you have attended so many marriages for sooru da.. don't u have vetakam/ maanam ???) .. (thatz cool comment da machi .. Jay vetti paiya !!)

Around 8.30 MK had another round of Pooja and on return was given a Metti ...

Comments from mannarus : -- Its time for 'Metti Oli' hereafter and not any other channel.... (MK, I pity u.. you are going to miss your fav. NDTV ...)

(PS: In order to maintain the decorum of this post I have written it as NDTV. But i will not tell others that you prefer FTV !!) .. (woooveee ... What's in that ?!)

After the lunch, we (few of us) accompanied the kids to their home and we were impressed by the progress in construction work.

Spl. thanks to Ranjith and Rajmohan who made the journey wonderful for those kids..

Finest moment in Anbagam :

We were just becoming the witnesses of the good work co-ordinated from our Trichy based friends on the construction front.

I am really proud of our group doing such activity for the benefit of people in need.

[I was very much happy to be there with the kids with you all !!]

When we were travelling our "Rajee" was quick enough to realize that the Summer in Trichy is going to be very tough and these kids are going to suffer without slippers ....(on those days we really felt that it is too hot to go out...just think about these kids walking to all places without slippers... Hope you understand the difficulty .... )

'Rajee' made a quck contribution to buy slippers and I promised him that the others --who are all reading this report -- are kind enough to fund to finish the plan RAJE !! , thanks to you again.

Rajmohan & Ramesh : Advanced thanks to both of you to execute this.

So before you wind up this report, Let us soon execute what Rajee has started .

Most people say they feel better after a good cry. Crying helps release all the tension, anxiety and frustrations of life. It feels great to relieve yourself of the hurt without being destructive. Also, crying stimulates the release of endorphins, chemicals in the brain that have mood-elevating effects and help you feel better.

What are tears?

Tears are of three types: continuous, reflex and emotional. Continuous tears are the ones which just flow to lubricate your eyes, or when you're sleepy and yawn. Reflex tears are those which are in response to irritants like smoke, onion vapors or foreign bodies. Emotional tears are by far the most complex. They can be stemmed by happiness, sadness, anger, stress or any other deep emotion.

Crying is not a solution

Crying may ease the pain, but no matter how much you cry, you can't wish the cause of your tears away. No amount of crying will get back your lost love, take you back in time so your child passes that exam or bring you a promotion. What crying does is help you express your pain and indulge in a few moments - or hours - or days - of self pity. You accept your vulnerabilities as human beings, and by doing so you regain strength to wipe the tears away, open your eyes, lift your heads, and move on.

The fact is, women, on an average, cry five times more than men.

Funny Tracking !

Three men were flying on a plane over the jungle when it crashed. They were the only people who survived. They decided that starting the next morning one of them would go out and make weapons and see if he could kill anything.

So the next morning the first man went out. He didn't come back till about noon. When they saw him they ran to him and helped him carry the deer back to the plane wreckage. They asked him how he killed it. He said "I find tracks...I follow tracks...I kill deer."

So the next morning the second guy set out. He too came back at noon. When they saw him they ran to him and helped him carry the buffalo he had killed back to the plane wreckage. They asked him how he had killed it. He said "I find tracks...I follow tracks...I kill buffalo."

The next morning the third guy went out. The other two were watching and watching for him. When it was almost sundown and he still hadn't returned they started getting worried.

Then they saw a person stumbling towards them he looked awful, really bad cuts and a broken arm. They went and helped him to the fire they had made and asked him what had happened.

I too used to work for a Japanese branch of my company, and also I heard and sometime know about the long hours that Japanese peoples put in. But, this astounding gallery (I came across in the net from some blog) of photographs of unconscious salarymen (either asleep or dead drunk) in trains, roads, etc.,. Is it b'coz of too much on work.??. Ohhhh !
