"State Express Transport Corporation", TamilNadu started Online Reservation/Booking. Check-out the site.
If the passengers traveling in SETC buses reserved the tickets both for onwards and return journey at the same time, a discount of 10% on the fare will be allowed.

Hi friends!
I have checked all over the internet. I have also enquired the SETC persons personally and to my suprise there is no reservation over internet possible for SETC, the one similar to KSRTC. What they mean by the name ONLINE RESERVATION is that all the booking office is connected together using internet and you can book the tickets from any booking office. And that means you still have to wait in queue to get your ticket reserved.
I dont know why they have'nt implemented internet booking system for SETC..
I have pasted other travel company's website where you can book your tickets through internet.

Online reservation was introduced by SETC, when I posted this blog, but unfortunately it was withdrawn from them, due to technical difficulties (inability??) in maintaining the same.
Hope, they would resume the same to match with other operators, to help general public.
