Researchers with the Eyetrack III project used software-controlled cameras to follow the eyes of readers who were perusing news websites, in order to determine the topology of attention.

Do You Click Randomly On Websites ?

In a new study about web-use behavior, one of the more interesting findings was that people tend to click a lot on websites -- and they're not talking about links. People just click within a website. While the snippet linked here doesn't suggest a reason why, I definitely do this, so I can at least explain my thought process.

A GMail-based blog With 1000 MB of entries

"Gallina" is a GMail blog tool created by Jonathan Hernandez that uses GMail messages as "entries" (so 1000 MB of entries!!), replies to conversations are the "entry comments", uses Libgmailer ('gmail-lite' project) to connect to GMail. It uses XML/XSLT and by the way it's a GPL software.

Someone posted a nice summary of links to information about the quality of workspace provided to software developers. "Perhaps it can be useful to other software developers in a position to influence managers or may someday be in a position to make decisions about workspace design themselves."

today morning, 'GMail' offers few more invitation .. already I almost invited 30 .. Whom else have to give now ? .. so Jus' checked 'my blog' site space .. seems that few postings missed .. that may be b'coz last week I tried rebuilding entire blog .. so What ? anyway, again I tried one more time, now it seems to be okay.. I'm mostly using this space for blogging the things I came across in net, along with few own Blah Blah stuffs ..

Also 'HIT' rate is increased an considerable amount (60+ !!).. How ?? any bug ?? only few knows my blogs .. Are they created much 'HITs' ? Do post your comments too, if any ?? .. I reached 51+ 'bloglines' subscription, check out right side bar (Blah Balh, fotos, kavithai, netroam, neus, rupya, sports, tamizh, techiey. etc) .. loong way to go ..

Again, dropped my YAMAHA plan & drive .. @least for now .. Again it becomes 'Dream' .. Why ? let's leave it now .. may be to compromise that Can I dream BIG ?? like .. HONDA 'Unicorn' or Daewoo 'Matiz'/Hyundai 'Accent'/Tata 'Indigo' .. let's dream now .. and wait and see .. Ha Ha ..

Last week nice trip in MSara's 'Accent' to Pondy in ECR stretch .. he tried @last 145kmph+ after crossing 'Mahabs'.. This jus' reminded those dayz drive to 'Mahabas' in JR's YAMAHA-135 (5 speed Gear!) with 105kmph+ and also onetime in DR.'s Splender with 85kmph+ .. Wow !! Nothing visible !. ['Drive care with Smile :)]

Last week, two marriages in 'Diner's Gang, promoted to 'family' man.. now count increased to 3 (or 4??) .. My Hearty Wishes to 'Venky/Sujatha & Sara/Lavanya' ..!! Sara's marriage is one of the loong time function, I attended (countable !), also ate lot !!. Thx Guyz .. Watched 'ANACONDAS-2', jus' to get cool in A/c Ha Ha Ha .. I usually stay small time in any marriage functions in the mandapam & all .. Don't I like crowded environment ?? Why Is't so ?? Let's see for other friends marriages ! (Mannaars .. Can I try ?)

Loong travelling after sometime .. after back from Japan, almost every week outting like .. Marriages, Diner's trip, Mannaars trip, my & friends home visit, et.., in a single month.. hufff.. but, now Chennai-PONDY-HOME-DVKT.. thatz it ..

Sometime travelling in Bus, forced me to see few movies like bits & pieces.. this time 'Vasantha Maaligai' (Don't like 'Sivaji's acting ? Can be acted better ?), 'Gambeeram' & all, may be b'coz this time forgot my 'Music Man' (Missed U man!!).. again as like those dayz, raining, drizzling here & there .. Nzoy :)

VoIP Has the Whole Industry Talking

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is projected to account for over 12% of all telephony revenues by 2009, according to Juniper Research.

The total market value for services using VoIP is forecast to grow almost ten fold over the next five years. In other words, VoIP will be at the center of convergence.

Although much attention has been paid to the more complex and "sexy" value-added services like video-on-demand (VOD) and online games, the biggest opportunity will be in voice services as broadband IP-voice takes over from traditional circuit-switched voice; driven by lower operating costs and competition between incumbents and new licensed operators.

Vapourised vodka inhalers come to NYC clubs !

Alcohol Without Liquid (AWoL) is the trade-name for a vapourised vodkaproduct that's dispensed through a portable booze-bong that has becometrendy in London clubs. Now NYC meatpacking district clubs have takenup the craze and are selling booze-inhalers to their customers.

AWoL users pour a shot of their favorite spirit into a diffusercapsule, which is connected to an oxygen pipe.

Oxygen bubbles are pumped through it, absorbing the alcohol andcreating a smoky-looking vapor, which is then sucked through a tube and inhaled.

Friendship is like standing on a wet cement. The longer you stand, the stronger it becomes and harder to leave. Even if you do leave, you end up leaving a permanent mark!

Coming back to action .. after slight break .. thought of writting on 16th .. then 17 !!.. then 18 .. @last 19th today .. seems to be busy with happy things in day-to-day life ..

This week somewhat going well .. loong nites after few months .. Good food and nice memories on 14th in sister's home .. call from 'Akka' from CBE and will meet her this weekend along with Bhava and Aadhi..

then, on 15th 'Independence Day', wishes to all in SMS .. went to 'Vasool Raja MBBS' tamil movie, even though I don't like Kamal much .. I saw this movie, might be b'coz of smiling 'Sneha' that too in nice eye catchy saarees, reminded all, really superb, not the movie but 'Sneha' .. 'What if' she's really an 'Doctor' now ..?? ('What if' like the same way of this week's 'outlookindia'?) Can you get my point/dream ??

Heard that, some of the corporates (even in INDIA!) having a policy that when a national holiday falls on a weekend, then the next working day is declared a holiday. Is it Cool ? !!

Y'day went to Taj Coromandel, Chennai and attended a 'road show cum seminar' by AVAYA (along with extreme networks & tata telecom) .. about 'Converged Communications' .. and then lunch .. 'Communications' long way .. now-a-dayz lot of improvements ..

today .. its going .. and moving towards another week end, but short one ..
